Grandad Nixon came to this farm in the early 1930s and kept pigs and dairy cows. The milk was delivered to most local houses
His six children were all born here and as they grew up they helped on the farm
Three of his grandchildren are now running this business they are Paul ( he repairs everything)
Ian ( the suckler herd is his forte) and Julie (trying to keep every one in order!!) Julie's husband Roger is in charge of Smithy Farm and looks after the cattle.
The cattle at Smithy Farm are now out in the fields all the time eating the grass and enjoying the sunshine
The cattle at Outwood have calved and are out in the fields with their calves

The Pets Corner is looking great and there are new baby bunnies for the family to see

We have a new family of pigs next to the play area they love to play and then cuddle up together for a sleep.
